My heart goes out to your family. I am so sorry for your loss. What pain hurts worse than the pain of losing someone that you love? Mr. John was loved and he will be dearly missed. Again, I am so sorry. Though the pain you're feeling must seem unbearable, please remember that you are not alone. Psalms 46:1 says, "God is our refuge and strength, a help that is readily found in times of distress." Pray to Him for strength. Weep to Him when there are no words. One of the poets of the Bible said at Psalms 56:8, "You keep track of my wandering. Do collect my tears in your skin bottle." You see, God understands your pain and He cares for you very much (1 Peter 5:7). And He will really help you get through this difficult time (Isaiah 41:10).

I am very sorry to hear of your loss. I never had the privilege of knowing Mr. Dyer, but everything I have heard lets me know he was a wonderful man with a loving family and many great friends. My prayers are with you at this time - may God's love sustain you and help you. I pray that you take comfort in the knowledge that he is resting and you will one day be reunited. God Bless you.

I knew John Willie back in the late 1960's when we both worked at Safeway in Athens. He was a assistant manager and I was a stocker/checker. One of the kindest and most likeable guys you ever did meet. He was honest to a fault and integrity was something he imparted to the rest of us high school kids. I am grateful to have known him, and I know he is smiling now. Frank McCallum

My condolences to the Dyer family...I have great memories of John Willie at the Athens Daily Review.We both were carriers there and we shared our love of gardening, may he rest in peace...
